Remember that excitement you felt when you first found out that there was an alternative to working for someone else for the rest of your life? If you're like most, you probably stayed up all night researching home business opportunities, reading blogs and reviews and dreaming of the kinds of things you'd do with your family once you reached success. All those videos and diagrams showing how you'd make money just made so much sense, and all those testimonials just proved that it really could work. So after some careful planning (and again if you're like most, bargaining with your spouse), you took the big plunge and joined. Why not? You did your research, it's a great product that provides some amazing benefits to those who use it, and there's even a fool-proof system that will do most of the work for you (so it doesn't take away from your family time). Your main responsibility would be getting set up, and then occasionally checking your bank account while the money just rolls in.

They made it sound so easy, didn't they? All those ads made it sound like you could learn to do the same thing that all the successful top earners do and achieve the same kind of success. The websites and systems do all the selling, explaning and convincing. No phone calls to make, no questions to answer, no personal selling whatsoever involved. Just follow the system and the easy money will come. But the reality of starting a home business is quite different. You start to find that the problem with the website doing the selling is that you have to get people to the website in the first place. But how to find those people and get them there? Where they once told you that there wouldn't be any phone calls to make, your sponsor or upline is now telling you to buy mlm leads and set aside a few hours to call them to tell them about your business. If all that isn't enough, now they're throwing suggestion after suggestion your way on how to market, from Google Adwords to Solo Ezine ads, all which cost a lot of money. And after a month or two (or maybe even 3 or 4), there isn't any money coming into your account. In fact, you haven't made a sale at all!

So what are you doing wrong? You've followed their system, you use their sites, you've even placed ads up everywhere you can think of and bothered your friends and family...but still nothing.
